SSR Heater Hose Set and Coolant Surge Tank

SSR Heater Hose Set This is a brand new set of molded heater hoses that directly replaces the 15299670 and 15128104 OEM units that GM discontinued in 2015. When last seen available in 2015, the combination of 15299670 and 15128104 were selling for more than $275….. After a lot of prototype work with my own SSR as the test installation and two separate iterations of molded hoses from Gates Engineering, the new design has been in production since 2017. The new design turns the hoses across the firewall, across the A/C lines and then down . The lines run forward past the front strut tower and are secured away from any sharp edges on the frame with a padded stainless clamp and some nylon wire loom. The “T” is now located directly below the surge tank, instead of way forward and doubling back. This results in a much cleaner installation that is tucked neatly out of sight, since the hoses no longer come forward and then across the ignition coils. The fit is amazing. The best way for me to show these hoses is on a mock-up on the workbench. See attached photos. Once installed, it is really hard to photograph the hoses themselves. These hoses are manufactured in the USA by Gates exclusively for Simple Engineering. Coolant Surge Tank This is a direct replacement (aftermarket) of the 22712361 OEM coolant pressure tank. The advantage that this tank has over the OEM tank is an improved ability to see through the tank itself, making fluid level checks simple….. UK Orders

Orders using standard delivery options (Royal Mail 1st and 2nd Class) will usually be dispatched within 24 – 48 hours of the order being placed (but we always do this as fast as possible). You will receive an email from us letting you know your order has been dispatched and another with tracking details included.

If you are not in when your parcel arrives you will be left a card, with instructions for collection at your local Royal Mail sorting office or how to re-arrange delivery.

Please be aware that at certain times of year there can be seasonal delays to the postal service, these are out of our control unfortunately.

Orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.  Orders placed after 1pm on a Bank Holiday Friday will be dispatched and processed on the first working day after the Bank Holiday.

Next Day Delivery

Next Day Delivery Orders will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery and will require a Signature.

Next day delivery orders must be placed before 1pm. Any orders placed after 1pm will not be guaranteed to reach you by the next working day. Any next day delivery orders placed on a Friday will not be dispatched until Monday.

The below are exceptions that will incur delays to the Next Day Delivery Service, if in any doubt please contact us via our CONTACT page.
