Metal Earth James Webb Space Telescope

DescriptionMetal Earth produces a large number of licensed and classic metal model kits. Each kit comes with a few flat sheets of metal pieces that can be pressed out and assembled by following the simple instructions, resulting in a wonderful little steel model. Note that the individual pieces can be very small, making them somewhat tricky to assemble and would require a steady hand and the use of tools such as flat nose pliers. While these could be suitable for older children with some help, they are more geared towards adult model builders.The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) was launched into a solar orbit in 2021 on an Ariane 5 rocket. It’s mission is to conduct ongoing infrared astronomy, allowing it to view planets, stars and other space objects that are too distant for the Hubble Space Telescope to view.This intermediate-level metal model kit from Metal Earth is a great little model for space enthusiasts. The final model can be displayed on the included stand and is around 4 x 2.75 x 2.75 inches. The metal pieces have been laser etched to ensure they are the correct colour and detail, and the main mirror is reflective gold. This wonderful little piece of space history makes a great addition to anyone’s collection.

UK Orders

Orders using standard delivery options (Royal Mail 1st and 2nd Class) will usually be dispatched within 24 – 48 hours of the order being placed (but we always do this as fast as possible). You will receive an email from us letting you know your order has been dispatched and another with tracking details included.

If you are not in when your parcel arrives you will be left a card, with instructions for collection at your local Royal Mail sorting office or how to re-arrange delivery.

Please be aware that at certain times of year there can be seasonal delays to the postal service, these are out of our control unfortunately.

Orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.  Orders placed after 1pm on a Bank Holiday Friday will be dispatched and processed on the first working day after the Bank Holiday.

Next Day Delivery

Next Day Delivery Orders will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery and will require a Signature.

Next day delivery orders must be placed before 1pm. Any orders placed after 1pm will not be guaranteed to reach you by the next working day. Any next day delivery orders placed on a Friday will not be dispatched until Monday.

The below are exceptions that will incur delays to the Next Day Delivery Service, if in any doubt please contact us via our CONTACT page.
