This is due to a number of changes in the optical design, which include: three elements that are removed, more aspherical elements in the design have been used, and some of the glass elements have been thinned. The front group now have a convex-first configuration along with less moving lens groups. Further, the improvements in construction and weight reduction of the Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II Lens, you will also find improved image quality, higher resolution, better flare resistance, and a smoother bokeh. The revised optical design features one extra-low dispersion (ED) element, one Super ED element, two aspherical elements, one aspherical ED element, one fluorite element, and one short-wavelength refractive (SR) element. These together limit various aberrations and colour fringing, realising high sharpness and improved colour reproduction. An improved manufacturing method of aspherical elements, along with an 11-bladed rounded diaphragm, provides you with a more rounded bokeh experience. The Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II Lens features the Meso Amorphous Coat, which produces the greatest anti-reflective performance from Nikon. This outperforms the Nano Crystal Coat in regard to diagonal incident light and matches the performance of the ARNEO Coat for vertical incident light. The ARNEO Coat has still been applied for a more well-rounded anti-glare performance from all angles, and suppresses ghosting, relfectionsm and flare for a higher contrast and better colour reproduction. The Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II Lens employs the Silky Swift Voice Coil Motor (VCM) Autofocus system that uses magnets instead of gears for moving the autofocus groups. This results in faster and more accurate performance. The VCM system also provides smoother and quieter autofocus performance, which makes this lens ideal for both video and still applications. The Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II Lens is constructed and designed to handle any situation. This one is especially well built and reliable, even with the lighter overall weight and size. This lens features an improved Vibration Reduction (VR) system that compensates for up to 6-stops of vibration for a clearer and sharper image quality when shooting or at slower shutter speeds. Incorporated into the design of the Z 70-200mm is internal zoom and focusing, which maintains a consistent overall length and weight distribution for more natural handheld use. It also features advanced weather sealing to assist in preventing dust and moisture from entering the lens barrel, giving you confidence in using it in inclement weather conditions. The front element features a fluorine coating that repels dust and moisture, and it also makes it easy to clean the front lens element.

UK Orders

Orders using standard delivery options (Royal Mail 1st and 2nd Class) will usually be dispatched within 24 – 48 hours of the order being placed (but we always do this as fast as possible). You will receive an email from us letting you know your order has been dispatched and another with tracking details included.

If you are not in when your parcel arrives you will be left a card, with instructions for collection at your local Royal Mail sorting office or how to re-arrange delivery.

Please be aware that at certain times of year there can be seasonal delays to the postal service, these are out of our control unfortunately.

Orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.  Orders placed after 1pm on a Bank Holiday Friday will be dispatched and processed on the first working day after the Bank Holiday.

Next Day Delivery

Next Day Delivery Orders will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery and will require a Signature.

Next day delivery orders must be placed before 1pm. Any orders placed after 1pm will not be guaranteed to reach you by the next working day. Any next day delivery orders placed on a Friday will not be dispatched until Monday.
